If an owner’s suite with a unique full beam view of the water on both sides peaks your interest, the luxurious new Gran Turismo 46 Motor Yacht will surely command your attention at this year’s Progressive Cleveland Boat Show.
The Gran Turismo will reign as 2019 “Queen of the Fleet” over the more than 400 boats making up Ohio’s largest boat show. Designed and built by Beneteau Yachts, the “Queen” will be making her first area public appearance.
Gorgeous woodwork enhanced by lavish materials such as titanium, leather and lacquer finishes create a rich and comfortable atmosphere below in either a two or three cabin well-ventilated layout boasting lots of natural light.
Topside is a spacious but protected open cockpit with electric glazed windows and an optional full-opening glass door and an aft galley. The perfect marriage of brains and brawn, the Gran Turismo is the latest generation of Beneteau sport cruisers boasting the Air Step 2 hull design.
The patented Air Step 2 technology increases the volume of air inflow under the hull threefold, thereby reducing fuel consumption and increasing acceleration. It’s also compatible with Volvo IPS drives. The combination provides excellent seakeeping, minimal resistance through waves, linear acceleration and tight turns.
The “Queen” will be displayed by SkipperBud’s located at Marina Del Isle, Port Clinton. But, it won’t be the only new model they’ll have at the boat show. The big exhibit will include new Tiara 44, 39, 38, and 34 models; the Cruisers 42 Cantius and 39 Express; and multiple new models from Four Winns, Scout, Scarab and JC tritoon.
This year’s boat show will be the largest since 2008. It reflects the steady increase in boat sales and the emphasis major boat builders are placing on introducing new designs.
