With a pair of miniature water skis and a life jacket, Twiggy the water-skiing squirrel is back by popular demand. Performing several times daily, Twiggy will cruise around a 25-foot circular pool towed behind her special radio-controlled Ski Nautique power boat. Spectators are encouraged to bring their cameras to capture Twiggy in action or be photographed with this amazing squirrel after each performance. |


Watersports in January? It’s possible at the Expo – see professional wakeboard riders fly across 40-foot long rails and land in a 60-foot long pool all while being pulled by a winch. Sponsored by VanDevere Marine, the Rail Jam is part of the Ski Zone located in the northwest corner of the I-X Center.

The Waterfront Lifestyle Pavilion, sponsored by Lake Erie Living magazine, will feature a full-size chalet decorated inside and out with nautical accessories. Displayed by Marine City Sales, the two-bedroom, two-bathroom house will be open for touring during all expo hours. Two floating homes will be displayed, one in the pavilion from Coastal Marine II and one near the food court from Lake Erie Floating Homes. In addition, there will be landscaping, home accessory booths, and lakefront development displays...everything but the water!
